Sales Associate- APAC4
Division:Unical Aviation

The Sales Associate is primarily responsible for promoting and selling inventoried aviation parts. Responsibilities will also include sourcing and selling aviation parts not in inventory to satisfy customer request for quote (RFQ). Strategic sourcing and pricing are key components to the success of this position.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be a detailed oriented person and can work on fast pace environment. Work well under pressure.
  • Respond to RFQ from existing and potential customers, present and close sale
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone and emails
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers 'businesses and requirements
  • Understands what the customer does and does not want
  • Negotiate terms of the contract
  • Work on business development of potential customers
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
  • Negotiate terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Research and gathering market and customer information; learn market, products, service and competitors
  • Ability to close sales through persuasion and overcoming any obstacles that may occur
  • Work as a liaison with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders & obtaining good pricing through bargaining /negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications
  • Review monthly sales performance, able to aim and meet or exceed yearly targets 
  •  Able to make accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with competitive quotations
  • Attending team meeting and share best practice with colleagues
  • Track products through delivery on time and meeting a deadlines
  • Promote and sell inventoried aviation parts in response to customers’ Requests For Quotes (RFQs)
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year professional sales experience not required but a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively set goals and then attain them as evidenced by a track record.
  • Computer literacy (i.e., spreadsheets, MS Office, Outlook).
  • Winning "can-do" attitude and strong work ethic as evidenced by a track record of success.
