Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Division:Unical 145
  
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position will perform shipping, receiving and non-technical inspections for both aircraft non-aircraft parts and components entering or leaving the repair station. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible in ensuring all Aircraft Parts/Components and all supplies to be used in, or to aid in, the Repair/Overhaul process are in an airworthy and regulatory compliant condition.
  • Ensure all receipts are conducted in a timely manner in order to meet both internal and external customer demands
  • Support the shipment of Aircraft Parts/Components / subcomponents / sub Assy in line with the relevant industry or customer / product type standards.
Tasks: 

  • Receive / offload and load all products and materials in accordance with HSE requirements / guidelines
  • Ensure relevant equipment and materials are maintained and serviceable in relation to cell of operation. E.g. packaging equipment, Forklift, safety equipment
  • Ensure timely and accurate updating of all receiving information on relevant company system / computer systems.
  • Receipt, inspection, acceptance or rejection of all goods into facility. Acting as “gate keeper” for organization in accordance with the company / regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Segregation of materials and components in line with process and procedures
  • Interact with freight and postal carriers as needed to ship and receive packages.
  • Responsible to receive purchase orders in ERP, assign stock locations, and make accurate placements for all inventory items.
  • Ensure “6s” methodology is maintained at all times
  • Ability to accurately update all export paperwork, such as packing slips, export invoices.

Education and Qualifications: 

  • Hazmat 
  • Forklift training certification
  • High School Diploma (GED)




Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • OSHA Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
  • Must be familiar with proper packaging methods in line with ATA300 specification
  • Familia with all FAA regulatory inspection requirements for components / piece parts.
  • Company receiving parts training – pass within 60 Days


Desired:

  • Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirable.
  • Previous Hazmat training is desirable.
  • 2-5 years of warehouse shipping and receiving experience required.

  • Location: Mesa, Arizona
  • Shift: Monday to Friday 40 hours.
  • FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Some infrequent travel will be required.
