Customer Service Representative
Division:Unical Aviation
  
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for reviewing and processing Return Material Authorizations and Warranty Repair of aircraft parts supplied to customers and any other customer related concerns. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with our vendors, customers, and other departments within the company, to ensure customer’s requests are responded in a timely manner and returns are processed within company guidelines.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Review customer’s requests for credit return or warranty repair return to ensure the claim is valid.
  • Create repair order to repair vendor for warranty evaluations once part is received back from customer.
  • Work closely with repair vendors to ensure that warranty repairs are being repaired in a timely manner to meet customer’s deadline.
  • Review cost estimates from repair shop for any rejection on the warranty claim; do full investigation on the rejection to ensure the vendor rejection claim is valid.
  • Communicate with customers regarding any warranty rejection and warranty acceptance.
  • Create repair cost estimates and send to customers in case warranty is rejected.
  • Process shipment back to customer after warranty repair.
  • Process material return and issue credit back to customer if claim is valid after full investigation.
  • Respond to customer’s concerns and issues regarding parts purchased or facilitate to correct department to resolve issue.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate
  • A minimum if two years’ Aviation experience
  • Detail-orientated
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with outside vendors.
  • Persistent problem-solver
  • Ability to organize and prioritize various tasks and assignments.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years degree in Business Administration or a related field

 

Travel:

There is no travel required.

 

Language:

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
